A Taste of Palestine with Tamara Tahhan, Sat 17 February

Celebrate the flavours and stories of Palestine using seasonal British produce+BYOB!

Stories On Our Plate (SOOP) warmly invites you to SOOP's monthly food and storytelling series, showcasing this month Anglo-Palestinian cook and teacher Tamara Tahhan of Clapton Kitchen. You will become immersed in the flavours of stories of Tamara's Anglo-Palestinian culinary heritage. Expect an evening of storytelling, interactive materials, and personal scrumptious dishes. You will also hear more about SOOP's work from across the organisation and its approach to food in day-to-day life.

This is a unique menu of Anglo-Palestinian cookery primarily featuring recipes and inspired creations from Tamara's upbringing. Hear personal, quirky stories from Tamara's heritage, hosted at the lovely 119 cafe on Lower Clapton Road, Clapton.
