Very Superstitious Supper Club, Fri 13 October

Something strange is afoot in The Skip Garden Kitchen... kicking off our series of suppers which explore magic in the natural world and culinary wizardry - an evening of lucky foods and stories of superstition from around the globe

Our menu will be decided closer to the time but expect a colourful feast featuring locally sourced seasonal ingredients. With Rowanberries, lucky eggs, foraged plants and herbs, and sweet autumn fruits. All ingredients will be locally sourced and where possible organic.

The Skip Garden is an urban garden with a twist where everything is grown in skips! Located in Kings Cross, the garden is home to Global Generation: an environmental youth education charity, where local communities are brought together around growing, cooking and eating together. Our garden is a truly magical space created and cared for by and with the communities it serves. We aim for guests to be entertained, well fed and inspired by the ingenuity, passion and creativity of those who continue to help the Skip Garden grow... On this eve of Friday 13th...

Enter under the ladder and wonder around the garden before welcome drinks around the open fire. Stories from around the world of superstition, misfortune & good luck will guide you through this very superstitious supper. Seating is around communal tables, curiosity, discussion and laughter are encouraged.
