Wylde Feasts: How to improve your gut health, Fri 18 January

New Year, New You .. And all that kind of thing.

Wylde Feasts is more than just a supper club - it's an immersion into how we can all achieve wellness through the power of food. Based in Haggerston; the events are run by Wylde sisters Flo (a registered nutritional therapist) and Joss (a trained chef and long-time foodie).

Wylde Feasts sets out to achieve three things: serve up delicious food that is healthy, nutritionally focused and seasonal, create an open and thoughtful space for discussion, and educate diners on the significant impact that diet can have on 360 health, affecting everything from our mood to our the quality of our sleep, our immunity, hormones, and so much more.

Each event offers five delicious courses where guests will learn about the direct health benefits of each dish. Throughout the evening, Flo will be on hand to introduce the nutritional power of key ingredients, and discuss the ways in which even small changes in diet can have a tremendous impact on our lives. She'll tailor her knowledge and expertise to each event's theme, thereby offering diners a unique and personal experience they can take away with them. At the end of the evening, guests will be given a book of recipes from the night chronicling the science behind the food and armed with fantastic tips about how to make the most out of our meals.

Wylde Feast's next will be themed around gut health illustrating how to maximise our gut flora/microbiome/good bacteria which keeps our entire immune system in check. The gut has become a bit of a buzz topic in the media recently due to the immensely important role it plays in our overall health. But as with all popular subject matter there is a lot of (sometime dangerous) misinformation out there, so join us to pick up factually robust tips about how to eat well for your gut, and together let's get the "gut-vibes" flowing!

Wylde Feasts is a unique supper club that focuses on naturopathy - the healing power of nature. The evening was probably the most mindful dining experience I’ve ever had. The dishes had none of those fancy presentations or unnecessary edible flower decorations. The focus was simple and honest: the food and their upfront flavours, and how good they are for you. I also got the chance to meet like-minded people and learning a lot more about everyone’s different experiences with food.

The best thing about Wylde Feasts, however, were the generosity and hospitality of the hostesses - from the little booklet they prepared for us to bring home (including lots of nutrition tips and recipes), to answering all different kinds of questions when serving our meal, you can tell they are genuinely passionate about sharing the knowledge of naturopathy to everyone. And that really made the evening. I honestly couldn’t recommend more of Wylde Feasts. (Pam, 2018)

This supper club was excellent. The food was seriously tasty, and that's a big compliment from me seeing as I love meat, dairy and gluten! All of the courses were delicious, well rounded and suitably filling. The blood orange cake was an absolute delight.

Flo and Joss were welcoming and charismatic, eager to share their knowledge on the naturopathic benefits of the ingredients being used. We also got a take home booklet with info on naturopathic eating, tips for healthy living and maximising the benefits of certain ingredients and recipes to make at home!
