The menu for the evening will be:
Mini trio of pol roti with lunu miris, elavalu roti and polos cutlet
Sri Lankan flatbread with coconut served with a chillie, shallot and lime dip, roti stuffed with spicy vegetable mixture and a curried jackfruit croquette
Indiyappa with kiri hodhi, pol sambol, seeni sambol
String hoppers or steamed rice flour noodles with a coconut milk, tomato and fenugreek seed gravy, coconut sambol with freshly grated coconut and a sweet and sour onion relish
Rice and curry – watakka kalupol, parippu, wambatu moju, bonchi thel dala, keselmuwa mallum, beetroot curry, sudhu loonu curry, cucumber + carrot sambol
Brown rice served with a pumpkin curry thickened with blackened rice and fresh coconut, dal with dried red chillies, lemon grass and coconut milk, aubergine pickle, green been stirfried with cinnamon, banana blossom stirfried with freshly grated coconut, beetroot curry, garlic curry and cucumber and carrot sambol with shallots, green chillies and lime dressing
Bibikkan served with ceylon tea
Cake made with unrefined palm sugar/jaggery, fresh coconut, semolina, dates and spices

We are hosting this event at Pacific Social Club, one of our favourite venues in Hackney. Very reasonably priced drinks will be available for you to purchase at the venue on the night.
